hey guys i'm using nero to backup my movies and im using dvd+r that are 4x max and in nero i only have the option to burn them at 4x. so i burn them at 4x and it says successful burned, but when i watch the movie like in the middle or near the end of the movie it starts to get messed up and then totally freeze. this has happened to a select of the movies.the ones it has i gotta load the movie up multiple times then my player reads it. i was wondering if there was away to set it so i can burn at 1x, i think that should solve my problem.

the real solution is to pay for your movies.

Sounds like burn quality issues, assuming you aren't ignoring any "this image is too large for the media you wish to write to" messages. Yes, try reducing the write speed and see if you get better results. If not, try alternate media brands.

    Most likely low quality media.
