Back off sets, yay or nay?

    Especially concerning key lifts such as bench & squat.

    I hear/read completely opposite opinions on the topic. And both make good arguments.

    it does seem to be a good idea as a 'cool down', yet it also seems like a bad idea for muscle memory.

    for the record, i dont do them.
