So if you already don't know I strained my lower back a couple weeks ago. It has kept me off the mats and sucked very much. In addition to the lower back pain, there is another pain in my left upper thigh (near my crotch). The doctor said that it was something that was connected to my lower back which is why I feel a stretching sensation in it when I lie down or sit down. The pain also extends to my left testicle (tee hee laugh all you want but its true). Its been like this for 2 weeks now and is beginning to worry the crap out of me, if any of you experienced something similar let me know how it turned out (and when the stretching sensation went away).

It shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks for a run of the mill back injury to heal as long as you're taking it easy and not lifting.. Seems like it could be something serious to me. Your doctor doesn't think so?

Yeah the doctor made it sound like it wasn't serious. It hurts pretty bad though, to the point where I wake up many times in the middle of the night unable to go back to sleep due to the stretching feeling.

sounds shitty chum. I have not grappled in 2 weeks and I am going crazy. It's not even from an injury either

get better soon. I say get a second opinion, maybe get 'em to look inside you with one of those crazy newfangled flouroscopes they have now a-days (if you havn't already).
