got some stripper clips for the sks, some 7.62x54R and a Russian M44 Nagant. it was labled as "unissued". all numbers match. came w/spike bayonet, but no other accessories. paid $109 +tax. i may have been able to get a better price, but i don't like to haggle and this one had the best wood of all the ones i saw at the show. plus i don't mind spending a bit more when it's going to a mom and pop type dealer. now to play with cosmoline, damn i hate that stuff.

You didn't have to go through a waiting period for that rifle at the gun show??

I live in MA, and I can't believe there's no waiting period here. I was watching the news last night, John Kerry was talking about closing the "gun show loophole" (I.E., banning gun shows) in MA, which according to him, allows anyone to buy any gun without any sort of background checks/waiting period. But, I bought my Smith and Wesson 22-S from a gun show, and I had to go through the exact same procedure that I did to get my Sig 226 at a gun store.

Fucking asshole is just attacking legal gun owners. I can't wait to move out of this shithole state.

But anyway, that's gotta be one of the nicest stocks I've ever seen on a Nagant.

no. i did almost buy a stripped RRA lower though. this was one of the better shows(as far as selection of arms worth having) in a while. i saw a polish makarov i almost picked up. but after the nagant, tax, 40rds of ammo and some stripper clips i had to hold back. plus, on the way home i stopped by sportsman's warehouse and got a case length guage and powder for reloading. next time i go to a gun show, i'll probably pick up a stripped lower or a swiss k31.

still have to go through a background check here, show or no show. the stock and all matching numbers is why i got it. i had walked by it before during my "scouting run", but didn't note the stock. i had just got the stripper clips and was debating between a K31, the makarov or RRA lower when i passed back by. the brightness of the wood and almost complete absence of wood is what made me look closer. i guess the guy i bought from got a good lot. he had some others w/nice stocks as well, but this was the best imo.

I think Fl is the only state with a rifle waiting period im aware of, even this liberal hellhole aka NY I can go out and buy an AR, FAL, AK and bring it home with me today.

it's got all the right arsenal marks and traits for a "late" year nagant.

fl gun shows dont have a waiting period when you buy rifles. they just do the phone call and you walk with your new toy.

going to the gun and militia show here in jax next weekend. dont know what i want to get yet. maybe just an airsoft gun.
