Feels great to get home again. After spending 6hrs today turnining in 600+ weapons to arms room I couldn't wait to get released and head to my car.

Overall it was great experience. Learned alot of shit out there. Anything from working with a guerilla force, OGA, making Drop zones, landing zones etc. We spent about 12days in the field for the final exercise. We infil'd with 130lbs of gear. Rucksack, LCE and Weapon. That was pretty rough and thankfully we didn't jump in like some of the teams. I hurt my back when we did a jump the first week out there and didn't want to relive the experience carrying an extra 130lbs.

Tomorrow we should find out what Special Forces groups we are going to and what language we'll be learning so i'm looking forward to that. Hopefully it's what I want. I'll post when I find out..

The preferences I have down are 1st, 5th, 7th. The language we have no control over unless you already know one and can test out on it. I like 1st group only because its 45mins from home. The downside is they aren't really active in the middle east right now where all the action is. 5th group is at Ft. Cambell, KY and I don't really want to live there but you are guaranteed plenty of time down range. If i got 10th group in Colorado i would be happy with the location and what they're doing down range.

Language school can be difficult. There are plenty of difficult languages being taught. They also raised the standard inthe last year so some people are having trouble meeting it. I think I'll be fine though.

Finally found out today. I ended up with 1st Group (Ft. Lewis, WA) and Korean. Korean along with Arabic and Chinese are the toughest languages so that sucks but I can do it.
