I was running around down town yesterday doing a little b&w photography and got a few good shots. Just wanted to see what you guys thought.

These were shot with my Canon EOS Rebel Ti 35mm, 28-90mm lens, Kodak C-41 400spd film.

Nothing too special, just experimenting. :)

I think the sky is way too blown out. Maybe there were no clouds but I think it would work better with a cloudy sky. As it is now its pretty abstract, I think clouds would clue in people to what it is.

probably want to mix up the composition then, having it smack dab in the middle goes against some basics of photography.

Even the off-center second one? I'm still a beginner yet, so I'm no expert on everything yet...Still learning my cam yet :o

Cool, don't worry about being an expert, you'll get a better feel of it the more you get out and shoot. The important thing is doing it and trying to better yourself.

The off centered one still draws all attention to the middle of the frame. Check out this quick site on the rule of thirds. http://www.silverlight.co.uk/tutorials/compose_expose/thirds.html

I liked the first one more, but I'm no photographer. I just like to dabble.
