I recently started messing around with torrents, so I am still unfamiliar with many things.

I have two questions about the Azureus app specifically.

    1) Why are some of the words mysteriously in elvish when everything was fine yesterday when I first used the program.

    2) What is the difference when I have DLed a torrent, and in the status area, instead of saying 'seeding' it says 'queued'?

if you're new to torrents, try out Transmission. azureus is nice, but it's a memory hog.

The only reason to use Azureus is for Oink, it takes a lot of memory. I would suggest Transmission or Bits on Wheels.

I just use Bits on Wheels and have never had a problem with it.

    But I don't have Oink...

I too use Azureus strictly because of OiNK. I tried using BitRocket and it was awesome...very fast and light, but it couldnt handle the massive amounts of torrents I seed at a time.

So for now I'm stuck with Azureus.
