Axim is on the way

    also any current owners have any tips?

    im not too skilled
    i know basic c++ and a decent amount of VB (learned on 6.0, not sure how .net is..)

    do i have any hope of being able to write apps for it?

    dont know anything about the axim.. but .net vs. 6.0 is totaly different.

    LowkeyG, it's much easier to write applications under the .NET framework. I think you'll be able to do plenty. Visual Studio .NET 2003 comes with a load of tools for smart devices.
