I don't know why I spent over twice as much for the Aimpoint I just got.
Bud Fini (marketing dept.) who worked at HK when this came out is now at SIG.
By the 2nd post, I'm assuming some sarcasm about the Sig red dot. What's wrong with it? No better than the Chinese H1/T1 knockoffs?
Why the hell didn't I hold out till a found a 226 with a rail?
Is there any possibility I could have a gunsmith cut a rail into my frame, or would that put the integrity of the frame at risk?
when I was researching Sig 556s, the consensus was that the Sig red dot was junk.
have fun using that hunk of shit with a holster
That adapter should have rails on the sides too.
You could probably pick one up from tapco
That + Birdman Sights =
Any word for certain who makes the red dot for Sig? Looks like a chinese knock off of the Aimpoint.
Yeah, what a piece of shit design, but as long as there are mall ninjas with a credit card and online access it will sell. I sell all kinds of shit that I would not like/need, but that's business.
is its excessive height above bore the main reason its (the mount) shitty?
