avg detects my applicationData\sun\java\deployement\cache\javapi as a virus... wtf?

    my avg thinks these java classes are viruses and i have no idea why
    GetAccess.class Installer.class etc
    i think all those classes are from ibm robosource

    i dont think thats infected, anyone know whats up?

    it'll do that, used to do it to me all the time, thats why I hate AVG...otherwise a great program. Jsut too many things it 'detects' as 'virii' that aren't virus at all.

    :werd: Did the same thing to me for a while once I installed a newer version of Java it quit and hasn't sense.

    this is what hashes are good for. if the file has been altered, you could tell. if the hash is the same, avg is throwing false positives

    why wouldnt it affect anything else but damn java robocode program ? that doesnt really make sense

    did the same to me. I uninstalled Java and got the newest version. Problem went away.
