Just as the title states, what's the average amount of carbs should I take in while I'm cutting. Most people state that I should be on a low carb diet. I googled to see what are some low carb foods, and found a variety of foods.

However, I'm not sure what is the amount of grams of carbs I should take in. I currently weigh a 155lbs, if it helps. Thanks.

    No...:squint:

I guess my main concern is just my abdomen area, it has a lot of fat. Otherwise my arms, back, and chest aren't too bad. However, yes, I am a twig, but would like to look more "defined."

    Any suggestions?

yes and I am being serious when I say this you should eat big and lift big and get to a weight that is not embarrassing and then shred fat.

That would be nice, but I'm sure it's not ideal; correct?

most of the guys in this forum are not trying to achieve a body which girls would like and it seems that ur trying to attract girls

most girl like a guy with moderate muscle mass and little bodyfat...they dont like those powerlifter type bodies...they love the brad pitt type of body from fightclub...

Early cut I take in ~ 175g's. Mid cut I drop to 125-150 and when nearly the end of my cut (last 6 weeks or so) I shoot for 75-100.

A majority of these carbs come from good sources as well. Oats, whole grain breads, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, etc..
Generally though, I have one day a week where I double my carb intake in order to throw my body a curve ball.

seriously, by adding more muscle your body will look more defined & better. If you cut the fat you don't have any muscle underneath and will look like a skeleton. Its all about the choices of food you eat, read the stickies, lift intense, eat 50g of protein at every meal with either 50g carbs or 20g fat, don't mix fats and carbs, and no carbs after 6...but you gotta make sure you're eating good food

don't mix fats and carbs? are you talking about protein and carbs?

protein + carbs + little to no fat = higher insulin response, ideal for PWO

if you eat straight carbs and protein all the time, your insulin will be raised throughout the entire day, like mini "spikes".. which means lots of fat storage (pre workout, PWO, and morning time are all exceptions)

    What are you talking about?

If you cut the carbs, you need to up the fats..

Carbs under 50 for some nice keto weight loss, but healthy fats need to be 40g+. Protein needs to be 1.5g+/lb of bw..

I got lazy and didnt really explain much. I'm talking about carbs that don't have a sudden impact on insulin, and should have mentioned something about PWO carbs....oh well
