Yes, I know it's not really anime but... is it any good?

My cousin and a coworker both love anime and insist I should watch this series.

Thanks, I'm downloading the entire series now.

I've seen some of it on TV and it looks good. Generally I don't like American cartoons that try to emulate the anime style but this one is very convincing. Just like the Big O successfully uses the style of classic American animation.

ya I know what you mean, avatar does emulate anime to some extent but it does a really good job, it's never too much of anime at one time, and it's never to much american at one time, it's just a great series

I watched some episodes with my cousin.
It's ok to watch it on TV when there's nothing better but I wouldn't follow it.

I've downed one so far, no opinion yet. I'm trying to keep in mind it's meant for children to watch.

I thought it would appeal to adults but this is ridiculous. I'm sort of intrigued to see the development of Ang's abilities but there is no character development whatsoever and the story is so basic it makes a mediocre anime quite good in comparison.

remember that the episodes are aimed for a 6-12 age margin, thats really apparent in the first season, but after they est. a good fan base they start going darker

Did you keep on watching or did you stop at some point?

How are you liking the series?
