    not long and has a lot of pictures and explanations. no bullshit. all useful information.

    read that one, book is old but I found it to be useful for mental prep :o

    The Skip Barber book is good for technique.

    Racecar Engineering is good for the science. Subscriptions aren't cheap though.

    It is geared a lot towards the guy who is actively pursuing a professinal spot. Just a warning if somone buys it and wonders why there are sections on health, off track behavior, etc...

    i didnt know you could do that with car tires...especially on public roads...

    i know it gets a lot hotter on the track which makes the rubber ball up...but i just didnt expect it in the hills
