I'm trying to make an autorun file that will simply open a folder to view files automatically when loaded. i've tried searching online but I can't find the command I need. If anyone could tell me please i'd really apprecaite it!

    thanks.

You can do it this way:

    1. Right click on your desktop an choose: "New -> Shortcut"
    2. Enter the path to the folder you want to display
    3. When the shotcut is completed and on your desktop, drag and drop it in the Start menu folder "startup"

    I hope I could help.

Thanks but this isn't what I was looking for.

my mp3 player is a removable drive and I'm trying to get it to load the autorun.inf file. I can get it to load an icon for the drive, but I can't get it to do a specific action for some reason (it scans the whole drive and then prompts for mixed content (I have it set as prompt for now) and basically ignores the autorun "open=" command.)
