i had an '83 celica... and i know that all cars are cut to handle a 5 spd. tranny. although i don't know how hard the conversion would be.

  3. be prepared to spend a lot on parts, transmission, labor, and backbreaking work!!! that's all I can say.

easy as shit. for about 600 dollars you can get a used 4age engine with tranny and can not only have a stick but a 4age.

simple, get the manual tranny, run the hardlines
is it hydro clutch, i think its cable for being that old, but i remember one of the AE86 had hydro clutch, i dunno hah
find a clutch assembly at some junk yard, cut away some room for the shift linkage, and get a manual ecu, or mod your auto tranny ecu.
