I'm guessing a Benilli sp? would work great.

damn and here i thought you were referring to the AA-12 which is a fully automatic 12 gauge machinegun being tested for possible issue to units in the military. From what i read in Combat Arms its been tested to in excess of 20,000 rounds with NO cleaning and NO malfunctions....somethin to do w/ a new specialized metallurgy and production process :eek3:

do a google on that bad boy its definitely a must see...PLUS, they are developing a special 12 gauge round that fires a mini-HE grenade in place of a slug

I recommend the bennelli or beretta extrema 2 as well. Though if you're really looking to get into shooting trap, the twice pipe is the way to go.

why an auto...? ive only shot one or two but the added few inches in the receiver really made it annoying for fast swings...

imo a nice u/o for trap and skeet is better than any auto...

Good point, Benellis are really long in the receiver plus if you're using high velocity loads for trap and skeet they'll beat you to death by the end of the day (not saying that they're bad guns obviously, just that nothing is perfect). If you want to keep it on the cheaper side look at Remington 1100s, higher end would be something like a Beretta or Browning.

The Xtrema2 is supposed to be outstanding because everyone on the internet has watched that vid and have dubbed it the end-all shotgun, hence it's constant reccomendation in this forum :hsugh:

actually i change my mind... LOL

if you are primarily going to shoot TRAP and not trench or skeet than the auto would be a nice choice, you dont have to swing all that much so the extra length wont be much of a problem...

but if your gonna shoot skeet a u/o imo would be a better choice, get a 28" with fixed skeet chokes or adjustable and ur on a winner... trench is then another story, ive never seen anyone shoot trench with an auto but it may work :dunno:

    400ish.

That'd get some wild looks at the trap range.

The Xtrema2 is gas operated so it should be soft shooting, along with guns like browning golds/winchester X2s, remington 1100s, etc. I never said it kicked at all, I just think its funny that every time someone says something about shotguns it's mentioned by people in this forum because of the video of Beretta's in-house guy emptying it like its nothing :dunno:
