I have an XP server computer. I use it for filestorage and a few other things.

I have a VPN connection that I want to auto connect to everytime the computer starts. How do I do that? I looked through all the settings and couldn't find a setting for it. I saw some stuff about writing a script for it. Any ideas?

I also need to keep the connection up and running, can I script that too?

And I have very little experience with any of this. I know a tiny bit of Jython (lulz) from my programming class that I am taking and other than that I'm pretty weak. Thanks.

Is this a site to site VPN? or client to site VPN? Whenever I initiate traffic to my remote subnet, my site to site VPN gets brought up automatically. A client to site would be a bit more tricky since it more than likely in involves a username/password.

I'm not sure about site to site or that stuff.

I have a VPN connection that I launch that routes all my internet traffic through another computer. Like a proxy. It has a username and password.
