    I've been to a couple. I love doing it. For the price you can't beat it. I do prefer open track days though.

    I do it like its my job. Street Modified point champoin for the 2005 season right here! 3rd overall for PAX for the year as well. Lotsa upgrades over the winter so this year should be even better! What you wanna know about it?

    well I'm not really interested in the competitive aspect, I'm more into improving my driving skill and beating my own times than the idea of having my results posted to some huge competition where everyone would most likely beat me.

    Is there still a place in auto-x for someone like me?

    Yeah man. You can run open time if you don't care to be competitive. I ALWAYS feel like I am racing with myself and at this point I don't pay attention to the times of anyone else until the end maybe. You will have like 3-5 runs in a day, and get your time after each run. You can evaluate what you did wrong and adjust your tire pressure or shock adjustments if your shocks have them. Anyhow good luck!

    I autocrossed my Chevy Sprint turbo this weekend, beat a C5 Vette :big grin:
    Just about everybody else beat me though, I think the Vette driver didnt know what he was doing.
