    Going to the Houston Auto Show tommrow and was wonder if i should take both my lenes (18-55 & 55-200) or just one.

    And if one then what one?

    18-55 ftw. Don't take te 55-200. If you have to zoom that far, you're not close enough to the car :p and besides, the lighting is gonna bite (always), so use the wide angle for less blur.

    50mm vs 18mm

    this is same distance...1.5 crop factor

    the 55mm will come in handy for the cars that have a rope around them

    Yeah...I took my Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 to the detroit show and got some pretty good pics. I was @ 28 the entire time and was backpeddling 1/2 the time trying to get things in.... :wtc:

    You will use all of the wideness of the 18mm and wish you had more...

    Yeah, fck the hemi. I'm sick of seeing those damn Dodge commericals. The HEMI is nothing special; it's shit technology from 40 years ago.

    Any car manufacturer that doesn't suck have designed the combustion chamber with a pentroof design, allowing 4 valves per cycle. The HEMI is only capable of 2 valves per cylinder. Welcome to the 1960s.
