First 15 laps and last 45 minutes were the only real interesting racing.

I'm glad Lowndes managed to hold out, because even though Kelly drove very well I still think he's an immature bitch.

    Discuss.

One is pretty much going to be OK, but the other is apparently still on life support. :sad2:

Agreed, the first 15 laps were crazy.

I went out then only caught the last hour, sounds like I didnt miss much.

    almost nascar-esque.

almost too disjointed to get into coz of cautions.

was only the last 30 odd laps where it came together. kinda funny that as a holden and brock fan, im happier lowndes won instead of that cunt rick kelly.

That was one of the more unfortunate aspects. The only more fitting tribute to Mr. Brock would have been an HDT car on top of the podium.

Sucks Holden couldn't win it for Brock, but out of the Ford drivers, Lowndes is the most fitting.

If only HRT could be out there, the story would be different :wtc:.

It was the right decision to green-flag the race after Richards crashed up the top. He wasn't on the racing line, and finishing under yellow FTMFL!

Go Lowndes.. you bloody rule.. but it WAS a really REALLY good race..

Sat and watched the entire thing from about lap 30ish.. truly was an awesome race.. and those that say it was crap didn't watch the end properly..

    Nice effort holden boys.. BUT:

I caught the end, and I'm not that pissed that Lowndes won.
I support Holden, but Kelly really is a little bitch sometimes.

todds alright, but something about rick just reeks of 'spoilt prick'.

i remember the days when theyd have 6 car wrekcs and just shove out a flat bed to trundle up the mountain and let the drivers work it out.

they bring in saftey cars in the name of saftey (oddly enough), but i dont remember too many people smashing into those flat beds.

theyre a bit too trigger happy with them these days. a couple of those could have been avoided really, and a few more avoided with well placed cranes.

i always go back to f1 at monaco. safety cars are very rare there, so really, any other track should have no excuse unless its something like the murph/ambrose thing last year.

PF is reporting that Mark Porter's life support has been switched off and he has died.

It's not yet confirmed by any media outlets, but it should be soon if it's true.

    :(
