Audi A4 Reliable???

    im looking into an audi A4... from 98 and newer and i wanted to know if anyone has one that they can tell me if im better off getting an acura.

    Its a crap shoot. German cars are engineered to be constantly maintained. They are solid cars if overly maintained. If not properly maintained with every service then reliablity will likely become a problem. Why do you think BMW offers maintenance included in price to try to overcome the stigma of this high maintenance. You wouldnt sell too many cars if you told them yeah you have to get a $600 service every 15k miles. They are high maintenance and without the cars history its a crap shoot. My Friend has a 98 with 130k miles it and his runs fine, he had the history on his though.

    A4's are pretty cheap for those years.

    If you want something you can just drive and not worry about get an Acura. If you want a solid overengineered high maintenance car get a A4
