I have a NEC 525. It fell outta my pocket whilst I was in the shitter.. :o Now the LCD is broken. I didnt get insurance on the phone.

I'm debating trying to get it fixed, or going with something like the Nokia 3620 or Sony Ericsson T637.

Anyone wanna give their 2 cents on either of these phones?

    Thanks

I don't really like the 3620, it's too big, but go with the nokia. se generally suck. the 637 is nothing more then a rebadged t616. crappy reception and menus are very slow.

I haven't heard enough back on the Sony to recommend it after having so many issues with the T616. I'd go for the 3620 if you don't mind a bigger phone.

Thanks. And dont make the same mistake I did. Leave your phone at your desk when you go to the shitter.

in order to add insurance you need to call lockline and they place a test call to your phone to make sure it works and that you actually have the phone. So you could buy a new phone put it on your account, add insurance, wait 15 days, claim it, then return the phone you saidyou lost. Don't tell them you broke it because they will ask you to send them the broken one. You'll need a police report to claim it lost though.

i dont think they're going to lay down and not investigate a claim. they are going to go into axys and see when the last esn swap was done and see what the reasons were. i'm sure tons of people try to take advantage of the insurance so i'd bet they do their fair share of investigating

I don't think lockline has access to internal systems. I've done it with sprint before lol.

v600 is pretty nice, but it can't take any abuse whatsoever. my friend has had one for two weeks and it already has a crack on the front. and he is always careful with his stuff.

wait another week or so and check out the samsung 316
