I was wondering if you could answer a couple questions for me. I've seen some of your fights you posted and know you train with an amazing team so I'd really appreciate your opinion. I may have an opportunity to have my first fight this December and was wondering how much experience you had under your belt when you had your first fight. I train boxing, bjj, and wrestling at all different places so unfortunately for me I don't have a good MMA trainer to tell me if I'm ready.

I'd appreciate anyone elses opinion too if they have MMA experience.

    Thanks.

    It all depends on you.

I had my first BJJ tournie after 2.5 months.
My first Muay Thai fight after 2 months
and my first MMA fight after about 1.5 years (put off due to injuries with bad timing.)

It all depends on your comfort level personally and you performance in your training.

Also it helps when you have someone that knows fighters in the game to tell you if the match up is good for you or not.

Cool. Thanks for the response. I know it all depends on the person I was just curious to see where you were at when you first competed. I've wrestled for about 5 years now and have two years of bjj and muay thai (on and off). I'll talk to the promoter more and see what the competition is like.

In my amateur fight i got no money.

I didn't win my first no.

In tournament I'm a goof. It wasn't for money so i would just have fun with it.

    grappling nothing.....

MMA no offence but I'm not saying.

I can tell you some places pay better than others but for the most part you can't make a living on it if you aren't a big name.

In light of the new TUF thread I just thought I'd ask. Vulgar, would you ever try out for TUF?

gear...i think he got a whole bunch of top notch triple stich n stuff so he plans to ship off all the old crap onto up n comer sponsorees. I've heard him say he's not even too concerned if the guy loses if he gets tv coverage.

come to think of it he kinda fucked me over by giving me some totally substandard shin guards which broke on the first day and have numerous holes now that i had to duc-tape cause its made out of some weak stitching rather than that smooth-type. My bjj trainer has also said he's already gone through 3 board shorts, and a week ago i ripped some other guy's shorts rolling. I also got some fucking laced gloves which are nothing more than a small annoyance, but 1 of my mma gloves had loose stitching so i had to get that replaced too.

But the new stuff is solid. i'm just kind of bitter right now. I'l tap him out one day....

That would kick so much ass to see Vulgar on TUF. I'd say you only need a few more fights. I think the records of the guys they usually take are between 2 and 10 fights, amiright? We know you're good enough.
