i have a script i run (awstats) on one of my servers. well. there's a bit of a problem :hs: since my server is running win2k server at 450 mhz, it can't crunch the database quickly enough. i know it's a :greddy: setup and i'm not worried about that.

the question: how do i increase the "CGI Timeout" time so that the script can finish running?

    thanks a bunch in advance.

As far as I know, there is no "CGI Timeout" setting, just turn off all the extra features. If awstats itself is doing DNS lookups, that takes a long time.

Look at the first "option for accuracy setting" and disable some of those, which can decrease processing time. Also try not running as many other processor/memory intensive things in the background and increase the swap.

Lastly, you need more RAM. A server can never have enough RAM.
