Mr. Nolan, I enjoyed The Dark Knight...
it was a well executed movie and I was impressed with your interpretation of Harvey Dent....

compared to this version, the "Batman Forever" version looks like a care bear...

then the last 2 minutes of the movie happened....

I know in the novelization it says that Two-Face's neck is broken..

if you read X-men II, it ends totally different from the movie....

15 minutes of Two-Face was not enough....

the downfall of Harvey Dent is key to Gotham City becoming a hell whole...

please good sir, don't let Two-Face in a half Leopard print suit get more screen time than your version...

    yours truly
    another fanatical fan

I wouldn't say it was terrible, it was just decent-ish. I only watched it like a month ago, and it'd been waaaaay over-hyped and all those fucking idiots hyping Heath Ledger's Joker, specially saying Oscars are his when the movie hadn't even come out, didn't help very much either as i expected a stellar performance, but was waaay to under-delivered.

Setting aside all the expectations i had of it however, it can only be called "meh"

    screw that...

justice as DA Dent didn't work out, so now it's time to bring Two-Face's simple and cost effective court to Gotham....

that's the way it goes in the comics...

How do you suppose that they resurrect the TwoFace character given how the last movie ended?

If they're going to ressurect someone, oh like i don't know Ra's Al Ghul, they've still got the Lazarus Pit.

But that's Ra's Al Ghul. Two Face runs with a different crowd. Trying to connect Two Face to the Lazarus pit and make it seem credible would be a writing feat.

i agree more two face woulda been appropriate but they have more time in comics. In movies you need to get alot across in a short amount of time. They wanted this to be more joker centric. Even though i think it would been sweet if they ended the movie with 2 faceleaving the hospital not knowing if he was alive. Then starting the next movie making it two face centric. That would have been a better plan had nolan know ledger was gonna pop some pills and take a nap

i hate when too many plots are going on in a movie. The whole two face thing felt rushed to make batman look evil before the end of the movie.

I think nolan thought about making a 2 part movie, but then backed off.

I remember hearing that eckart was signed for 2 movies or something. :dunno:

they never said he was dead, just his legacy....

    :o

don't you remember the 11 page debate in the main forum about them faking his death and just locking him away or if he really died....??

do you think that's enough for someone who RAN the majority of "No Man's Land...?"

the main point of "the long Halloween"....

remember what he did to Hush....

    Batman's #2 nemesis deserves more...

I'm not saying he has to dominate the third movie, but I think it would be an interesting twist if the Riddler discovered he was still alive and then broke him out...

giving Gotham reason to distrust their elected officials, Gordon, and the Batman (even more).....

It varies so much from the comics anyway, that to be honest I don't think we needed to see any more of Two-face.

I always loved him as a character because he had been a friend and ally to Batman, before becoming twisted by tragedy. The film was different, ergo his end was different.

It's standard practice for actors to sign up for sequels when there's a big franchise involved regardless of whether or not there's any plans for more of that character.

    this is true.....

Mathew Brodrick was signed on for two additional Godzilla movies...

before the Japanese movie studio who owns the rights put a cease and desist on the international level out...

I wonder if nolan would just keep twoface as a surprise for the third movie.

ie when the first trailer is released there's a quick shot of him in arkham at the very end.

I'll admit, I loved Crank and can't wait.

I love me some Jason Statham.
