i just came across these and remembered from a recent thread about vibram fivefingers that you said you were web toed and cant wear them.

theyre by a company called feelmax (http://feelmax.com/concept_shoes.html) based out of finland. theyre not technically available in the states yet, but barefoot ted has been testing them with great success (http://barefootted.com/labels/feelmax.html). i found a place that you can actually buy them online (http://www.extremeoutfitters.us/feelmax.aspx) and im probably going to be buying a pair of niesas for myself.

anyway, hopefully this helps you get that barefoot experience youre looking for

What about those $7 walmart "beach wet shoes" that are basically just a gel sole with spandex covering the feet. It seems like those would be just as good.

possibly, although im sure the sole isnt as resilient as the feelmax. also, the feelmax sole is waterproof so if youre wearing them outside, they wont soak through to your socks/feet, im sure the water shoes will. guess it depends on where and how often youre going to wear them
