    it's pretty long but i think it's a good read. Especially the part on how much muscle an average natural man can actually build in a short period of time. People are always saying "i gain a lb a week (or even two!) without gaining fat" yet when 1 year progress pics are posted, we don't see anybody looking like they've added 52 (or 104 :rofl: ) lbs of pure muscle :mamoru: How much new muscle can you really put on in week? CT says 0.25 - 0.5lbs, MAX, plus some glycogen. Anything else is just going towards adding fat.

    I love CT. He's a big fan of carb/calorie cycling and I switched my diet to get 3000 cals on training days and 2000 cals on off days, we'll see if I can gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, I'll give it a month or too.

    This seems to contradict the whole bulk/cut mindset of the F&N forum. :confused: Anyone disagree with this article?

    No, just because you dirty bulk and put on a shitload of weight doesn't mean any more of it is muscle.

    I dont really remember what I was doing from 178-215. But at 215 in Nov 05 I was at 315(with like 255 box squat)/240/365. At the peak of my fatness(265), I had a 500 box squat and the 551 pull. You can substitute my belt only 518 a couple months prior to my second meet if someone wants to believe I got a good amount out of my suit for the 551. And I bumped up my bench to 275 :rofl: So from Nov 05 to April 06 this all happened.

    Would I do the massive weight gain all over again? Fuck no, not worth it considering I think I only put on maybe 20 lbs of muscle and even that much is pushing it

    Went from 153(october 23rd) to 182(february 5th) to 195(april 28th) to 175(july 21st). Now I'm back up to 180 and I'll be bulking for a while.

    I did gain a fair amount of fat though during my bulk... I gained too much, too fast. :hs: I looked fucking soft in my pictures @ 195.
