    The two most important tools you will need but not expect for your fuel filter change is a claw hammer and a spam can opener from a crate of russian ammo.

    I have a Passat B5. All I needed was a socket wrench to remove the underbody fairing and a screwdriver to pry off the single use clamps and replace with screw-on clamps.

    You must have done it wrong.

    Wow. That's a terrible location. What year is that car? I know for a fact that the newer ones don't put it there.

    all B5 bodies have it there (quattro cars atleast) and yah, the location fucking BLOWS.
