MIL ATTN Any Blackberry users

    How do I set up my .mil address so that I can start receiving email on my blackberry?

    If its for AKO, then Ranger's post will work. I did it on my Treo until I got my technician job.

    As far as I know.. on the USMC side of the house, only CO's get BlackBerry's. If you want to get your .mil email on your BB, you're gonna have to go through NMCI. Good luck with that.

    Blackberry Enterprise Server for Exchange. I get my .mil email on my Blackberry, a brand new 8830 :coold:

    AF doesn't allow this :( I'm amazed the army does...no scratch that. I'm not surprised at all.

    thats exactly what i have. how did you set it up? did you just set it up like a normal email using the info ranger provided in this thread?

    Only key personnel will get email on their BB as far as i know. and like Seiken posted, good luck going through NMCI.

    My Blackberry is a gov't issued BB, so not sure about yours. But basically, you hook the BB up to the server that BB Enterprise for Exchange is installed on. In the server software there is a place where you create the user accounts, it ties in with Active Directory so you just select your account. Then you load up the BB Configuration Tool and Assign Handheld to User, select your user and it should migrate everything over and you'll get email as it comes in to your inbox.
