Yah. That happened at work once. "There is a ton of free pizza that your group won in the break room, go have some"
I was like
go eat it, not going to make a difference if your diet/exercise is in check.
As long as you don't make a habit of it...
Isn't it funny how all the big fat cows go running to the breakroom not as soon as the annnouncement has been made. I swear, they can smell it ahead of time, sort of like a fat ESP.
A few days ago they announced free subs from Jimmy Johns (it's employee appreciation week, they feed us all the time ). I was in the room with the food refilling my bottle of water. EVERY SINGLE 300lb+ person we employ was there in under a minute. I swear i could feel the floor shaking as they ran down the hall. It's like this anytime there's free food.
I'm fucking sick of cutting, I'm not gonna drag it out even more.
I buckled under the pressure (some cookies) and now I am paying for it.
We've had 6 birthdays this month so far. A birthday in the clinic consists of 6 pizzas and a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake. To date, I've only had one slice of pizza, and to make a pathetic excuse, I had just lost a patient in the middle of a surgery and was pretty bummed out. I hope they get me chicken breasts and oatmeal for my birthday.
free food is no laughing matter, fuck cutting
They consolidate all birthdays into one cake/icecream/pizza day once a month. The only time i've had any durign my cut was for my birthday month
I'd just eat everything in sight.
But then again, I'm not cutting
I have to go ahead and chime in here with a little bit of honesty, I eat honey buns, pizza, sodas, all kinds of shit. I just keep in mind what crap I've eaten and adjust my diet accordingly. I love food too much to deny myself. Eat really shitty one day, work out REALLY hard the next. It's a give and take for me.
They did that yesterday with Pizza
If i give in i do this. But at about 500 cals under maintenance I'm already hungry most of the day, using up those extra cals on something like ice cream and then having to be even hungrier the next day really sucks.
you can eat it..
just dont go overboard and do it everyday..you cutters need to understand MODERATION is the key.
one day of an extra 300 cals isnt going to make or break your diet

I know this, but it's a slippery slope for me. And as i've already said i'm sick of cutting, i want to be done with this ASAP.
