    My friend just got a new hard drive. Its not for extra storage but he just needed a new one. We put a boot disk in but the it said we need to run FDisk. We did but we didn't know wtf we were doin. does any1 know the right process to doing FDisk???

    make sure the drive doesn't have any partitions on it. Just follow the menu to delete anything that is on there, and create 1 primary partition the full size of the drive, and if you see any of those "large disk support" messages, then just say "yes". Are you putting windows on it or anything?
