  7. where are your seats? I've heard that first row in the balconies is the best view, and cageside is actually very hard to see the fights.

make sure you know where your seats actually are. i was in the wrong section and almost got in a fight with these guys who came late and claimed our seats. :o

I heard the same thing too. The cage is very restricting in what you can see cage side.

that is the best as long as you aren't at an angle. the top level seats aren't bad because you are right over the cage and can see straight in.

Sit high, not low unless you are on the front row.

Also, try to be with in a line site of a monitor. Its really almost impossible to see into the cage, no matter where you sit. Just go in knowing you won't be able to see it like you can on TV. Or you won't hear the announcements or see the instant replays.

Other than that its great, you can't beat the energy.

I have been first row of the upper level in Sacramento for GSP vs Hughes and same basic setup in Anaheim for Liddell vs. Jardine (Forrest vs Shogun )

Our seats were great. For strikeforce in San Jose we were lower and they sucked.

Yeah I think no matter where you sit it's not going to be like watching it on TV.

So if you can, it's most fun to actually pay for floor seats and go and pester the fighters and ring girls.

UFC would be better in person witha ring im sure

Imagine having ringside seats to one of those pridegps

    or shockwave

    where they parachuted in!

I like floor seats better than the rest, having done both in vegas. The energy seems stronger down there, and there is a ton of opportunity to meet more fighters. However, it comes at a price.

I have to say that the best viewership I've had is from the 6th row on the floor, second best would be first row of the non-floor seated section.

DO go to the weigh ins the day before, if possible. the fighters are very accessible.

DONT be suprised if some meatheads in affliction t-shirts try to start fights in the stands.

    have fun!! :wavey:
