boot from a floppy disk and try to ghost it. might take all night but you can probably recover most of your data...

the ghost wont work because it most likely has bad sectors....try downloading bartpe and boot of the the cd and run a check disk on the hard drive...

doesnt have to be a floppy...burn a cd. im just saying that if it has bad sectors then obviously it'll be tough to boot off it.

ghost has an option to skip bad sectors, letting you read everything else on the disk. or what I was suggesting was to let ghost keep retrying all night...it might eventually read everything. its worth a shot at least.

Give a try with a Linux Live CD such as Knoppix.

Find another desktop computer and slave the drive or pick up a HD enclosure and plug into a second computer.

i've only had that work well, one time. i didn't have ghost at that time, so i used an external harddrive case and it let me pull the stuff off of the drive for about 15 mins...after that, it died.
it seems like you only get about 15 mins of run time after you pull it out of the freezer, i think it has to do with the excessive mousture from the freezing process
