    some companies (like nVidia) have 64-bit drivers. otherwise you have to hack something together. Usually the 2003 drivers are the best-bet.

    nvidia is the shit for drivers... they're very good with coming out with timely releases

    Their latest round of Linux drivers are even pretty decent. The video card drivers are now better than the XFree ones, although their on-board sound/lan ones are still nowhere near as good as the free versions.

    you had to fill out a form, but you didn't have to be an MSDN subscriber... you would fill out the form, get an imidiate link to download an ISO, and they'd email you a cd key.

    No need to use them though, the AC97 one that comes with every Linux distro is great for sound and the forcedeth one works great for the on-board NIC.
