At what weight did you start wearing a belt for squats?

    I guess I should go until one day it hurts, but then I feel the damage will be done

    I can rep 250 pretty good, and the fella I was working with put it on when he got to 3 plates a side.

    I only use a belt when I am at my working sets. I don't care how much weight it is, if it is a warmup set I forgo the belt.

    Depends on how I feel. Usually around 315.

    365 or higher at the moment.
    a good time is when your in the 1-3 rep range.

    Around mid 3's I put it on. When you don't feel to stable and getting to the point you are repping 4-6 only you should throw one on. Just be safe.

    dont use one unless its necessary. If you feel unstable put more emphasis on your core use belt as last resort

    imo the only purpose of a belt is to help do more weight really. ive hurt my back while wearing a belt i dont think it prevents injury..i like to train without a belt
