Call it a parrot thread if you must, but I think it's just as important.

I noticed that people are getting married at an older age than what was more common "back in the day".

What about divorces? I think divorces are happening at a younger age due to the fact that people don't want to put in the effort to "fix" a marriage. Too much work to mend fences, kids are more used to having parents seperated, money matters so much more....

For the record, I was married @ 25 and divorced @ 34 due to lost love and infidelity. We just didn't put the effort in to keep the love there.
My parents were seperated for 20 years, but never got divorced . My grandparents went through infedelity back in the 40's but they made it work out.

Is disposable marriages the way of the future?

I've heard that 50% dont last past the first 5 years. After that you're better off.

Also age 25 and under have a 75% more likely chance of getting divorced.
