Ozymandias looks a little too dark, but Rorschach looks PERFECT

maybe it's just the lighting, but the Comedian's forearms look, idk, fake? (they seem discolored in comparison to the rest of his skin) Rorschach looks to be the most faithful to his comic look, but the mask makes me realize just how hokey-looking most comic book heroes would look if they were directly transplanted into our world w/o the obligatory "real world tweaking."

The comedian..I thought I remembered him having brighter colors. Everyone is questionable but Rorschach is on point.

Silk Spectre looks pretty good too.

Moriarty over at AICN made a pretty good comment about the look of the characters in the film:

Also, I guess they are planning to have Rorschach's mask constantly shift it have it be more like the comic. I am wondering if they will have the dots look like they flow around on his mask or just have it change between cuts, as it changes between panels in the book. Either way, it will make him way more creepy.

The armor parts look a little too "Batman and Robin" like. Rorschach is

I agree with Moore. The plot won't be as deep as the book. A lot has to get cut out in order to fit 2 hours or whatever. Watchmen isn't the cliche superhero comic style story, like batman, spiderman, etc....

But I wouldn't be surprised if the movie turns out to be portrayed in that manner.

i do not have high hopes for this movie.

zack snyder did a great job with the dawn of the dead remake, and one hell of a good job with 300...so here's hoping he can pull it off again :x:

The Watchmen is probably one of the greatest comics ever, but I have a hard time believing they will come ANYWHERE close as a movie. It needs to be more like a miniseries.

I'll go watch it on opening night though.....

There's only 12 issues of Watchmen on ElephantDrive, is that all there is to the series?
