What is a decent score??? I went to my recruiter after a hard days off work and scored a 72 i believe, but I went there again and scored a 85. So what is a decent score? And do they limit you to certain jobs by your score?

Yes you are limited by scores. 85 will get you any job in the military.

Dont want to hijack but does getting a 1290 on my sat replace me having to take the asvab? Getting a 1290 is like scoring highly right? What will this do for me?

Makes no sense. All jobs in the military require a certain score on the different parts of the ASVAB in order to qualify for them. If you don't take the ASVAB they cannot figure out what you qualify for.

even if you enlist without taking the asvab, on your ship date when youre in processing at MEPS theyll file you into the room to take the asvab. so youll end up taking it. :mamoru:

Taking the ASVAB is a really easy process, so don't sweat having to take it. I would know, I just took it this week. :o
