Does anyone have a good program with practice test? I studied every single day and filled up my whole notebook, then I totally cracked because I hadn't taken a practice test. Everything I learned how to do was totally useless without a direct equation to solve. My life is over if I can't get into the Navy, and I'm willing to study all day every day until I'm ready to retake it. What scores did you guys make? I feel really discouraged, and I don't know what I'll do if I fuck this up again. Please help

    Alex

So you don't know of a practice test? I've never been good at tests, and this is the most important thing to me right now

Your recruiter should be able to provide a practice test.

I did one there, and I totally went blank. I memorized all the formulas I needed, but I had no idea what to do where, because the questions gave me a whole lot of irrelevant information. I couldn't concentrate with the timer. I need to learn how to keep my cool during this test. I did great on everything but the math, which I've always been terrible at.

If I fill all this out, am I going to get emails and phone calls and letters for the rest of my life? I want to join the Navy, and the only boxes I can check are Air Force, Marines and National Guard. It won't let me continue without picking one. What am I getting myself into here?

military.com is as legit as they come. Just make sure you opt out of any offered newsletters or outside sales offers when you create an account and you'll be okay.

I've been a member there for years and have never been sorry for it.

It just won't let me continue unless I give them permission to start bugging me.

I got further, but it still brings me to the same wall. Should I just give them a phony email address and let them send all the marine crap they want? Or will something bad happen?

Nothing bad will happen. Petersons.com has a practice ASVAB as well.

I found out the day before I took the ASVAB and scored a 92. Try not to sweat it. I didn't study at all; just don't make it more complicated than it is.

I know people that fail it, and just got a waiver

If you have been studying, you'll be fine :h5:

there are also study guides available at book stores if you dont want to mess with studying online. Trying to study math, for me, is easier from a book than staring at a screen.

I scored a 69 on it after being out of high school for a year. Took it in the morning after working all night at a grocery store.

If you're that worried about spam, just create a new email at google and use that to register with. If, as everyone else that has registered there will tell you, you find that military.com is legit, you can always update your email address at the site.

cliffs: create new email address, register, study for asvab

Please don't join the military. If you cannot even figure out how to pass the ASVAB I don't want any chance of ever being stationed with you. Sorry if you think I'm being rude, but the military is trying to change its view of hiring anyone to at least hiring people that have a brain, so please don't ruin that image.

Honestly like Jbrown said, the ASVAB is written at like a pre-highschool level, so if you cant answer those questions I have no clue how you made it/are making it through high school.
