I've tried the standard SATA ports and also the ezbackup ones and adjusted the bios. I've got two 250GB Seagate drives and the MB does recognize my DVD drive. Pain in my ass! Any help would really be nice.

Disable SATA, try an old fashionate IDE connection type, get the latest bios update for your motherboard, along with the latest Sata drivers on a diskette.

There was an interesting topic here

Basically it states that although not recognized in BIOS, the thing might still show up once windows is installed. Might be worth a shot.

Are there any jumpers set on the SATA drives? There are jumpers, just not for Master/Slave.

The jumpers are just a speed limiting jumper. Weird deal wish i knew if the board was bad or not. Shouldn't be this difficult...
