Howdy all, cage guy here Firstly the training im doing is specified sports training, i do BJJ (brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and because i am a lightweight (70 kilo or under, i sit at 70) i need to be aggressive when i fight. So this is my training regime Everyday i run 7k, before the last kilometer i do push ups to fail and sit ups to fail. 2 days a week i train bjj for 2 hours each time, i am seriously wrecked after these sessions, as in i am barely able to drive my car home afterwards i am that destroyed. Im not interested in looking like a body builder or the gym, i cant afford it. However as a sports specified training regime what do you guys think?
