Howdy all, cage guy here :hsd:

Firstly the training im doing is specified sports training, i do BJJ (brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and because i am a lightweight (70 kilo or under, i sit at 70) i need to be aggressive when i fight.

So this is my training regime

Everyday i run 7k, before the last kilometer i do push ups to fail and sit ups to fail.

2 days a week i train bjj for 2 hours each time, i am seriously wrecked after these sessions, as in i am barely able to drive my car home afterwards i am that destroyed.

Im not interested in looking like a body builder or the gym, i cant afford it. However as a sports specified training regime what do you guys think?

For BJJ I'd train however your instructors reccomend... Best thing for you to do is do a lot of rolling from what more advanced guys have told me in the past. Roll roll roll.

Other good stuff you could do to condition yourself to last longer without gassing is Barbell Complexes, Bodyweight Circuits, and similar shit. This article lays it out for you
