    what are my chances here?

i failed last time i did this (but its coz it was a co-worker--i was a bouncer). i no longer have this part time job.

Anyways, my friends and i started hitting up this bar and first time we were there, i manage to have small talk with the bartender (shes actually a bar manager too after getting to know her) anyways, shes seems nice and really cute.

i know since its a bar, she prolly get hit on alot...and i dont know if she got a bf or not.

i also work in the industry and she knows the company i work for since we are the one that "supplies" the goods to them.

I notice that for the past two times we went there, she always gives me this unique eye contact and even my friends noticed it. gives me free drinks, and if i order for my friends---she charges me barely nothing and doesnt want my tip at all---even though i throw it in her face :sad2: she just gives it back.

im acting cool and normal as of right now----but i think theres potential here.

anyone here got any advice? :x:

Her - "What can I get you?"
You - "I'll take a (whatever you drink) and your number."

Then smile and put your cell phone down on the bar. Don't ask, just tell her.

Keep being cool and normal, the worst thing she could do is say no. If that happens, just keep being cool and act like it doesn't bother you. Relax and keep drinking the free drinks. :)

Asking out a bartender is... an advanced manuever. If you have to ask, my thought is... don't bother. But, I agree with what has been said: give her your number. She gets asked her number constantly as a bartender, generally by pushy drunk idiots, and there is something nice about not applying any pressure by giving her your number and asking her to call so you can get together.

Me: So what are you doing later?
Her: Going to a festival with some friends. Want to go?
    Me: OK

We were married a year later.

It'll be 12 years in September. She works in an office now and I'm in AA.
