alright, to make a long story short...

I am and have always been in love with anything with wheels and a steering wheel... mainly I'm an import guy, more specifically, i'm a Mazda rotary guy :) but anyway, i have always been in love with muscle cars as well, but i never really did my homework on them in the depth like i do for the import market and such... this coming fall i am getting a house with 2 of my friends (fellow rotorheads and all around car nuts) and we will have a fairly large garage (4 cars or bigger) where we can do all of our own work... we have the utilities (car lift, engine crane, air wrenches, etc...) to basically do almost anything. All of us would like to combine our extra funds into a monster project car, and we have been entertaining the idea of building up a mean muscle car... we just really don't know what is worth building, and what the quality products, etc are... i'm really into the sexy coupe/sedan cruisers like a 62' Impala  or a 67' Nova rather than a "sports" coupe like say a Mustang/Chevelle/Cuda or something... but if you guys could post up some of your personal favorite muscle cars and websites for me to get some ideas, i'd really appreciate it:bowdown:

thanks a lot guys, sorry for the long post:)

oh my god, thank you so much... honestly, the reason i got into this whole idea is because i saw that car on the Hot Rod TV show like a few weeks ago... i never found any info on it, but fate has worked it's way again... damn, that is sexy, i think i would have to choose that 62 (impala right?) over all of the pics so far, and not just because of the engine, just because that is the type of "cruiser" i've been looking for... wow, just wow... thanks a lot!

and guys, feel free to keep posting pics of your favorite detroit muscle! i'm still looking for options, but i am seriously interesten in this project...

    thanks again!

hehe. same here. I saw it on TV and set out to locate more info on it. And it actually is just a 62 Chevy I believe...becaue the '62 Impala has six taillights. Most definately a rolling work of art.

i'm assuming that the gone in 60 seconds car? i never saw the movie, which surprises me... maybe i'll go rent it tomorrow :) thats a Shelby GT 500 right? like a 1967 or so? i know they catch a pretty penny in mint condition, but what about other ones? i'm looking for a cruiser, but that is one of the most agressive stances i've seen in a while... very impressive
