Eh, I would say that you could be that assertive if you know her well and she is a friend of yours at the moment. If you don't know her so well, just say "Hey, I'm going to the beach, you should come with/would you like to come".

why exactly are you asking that question? she'll bring up an objection herself if she is actually too busy to join you.

avoid asking questions u don't care about knowing the answers to.

if ur genuinely curious what she's up to and are going to talk about it then ask that question. or if u want to pretend very very well that u are genuinely curious what she's up to that also works, although it's more energy.

otherwise just let her tell u whether she can or can't

if you go with "you're coming", say it with a tone of voice that shows her it's a compliment to her, not an actual order.

I've had this same question. I was always curious to know if it's better to say "Do you want to watch a movie tonight?" or "(I think) we should watch a movie tonight."

"I'd like to ___ with you" is good. It's only 3 seconds of the conversation anyways

"I think we should" is not as good, don't delegate to a higher authority (we "should"), that's weaker. Stick with talking about what YOU want. I'd like to xyz with you

that said, it doesn't even matter as much what u say, as how u say it.

inviting a girl to go out with you is definitely good. don't wait for her to invite herself for you
