10-600mm f/1.4 VR
I'm holding off for the f/1.0 model
If IQ is suburb, and its less than 3k, ill switch to Nikon. oh, and 1.4 at 600mm too
pffft....no f/.70 no care
I'll even sell all my lenses.
I hope you have a suitcase to carry it around in.
I have a camera and a neckstrap, id make do
why would you buy two, though?
isn't the point that you'd only need one?
he's being super serious
ok, so maybe id rig up a "reverse backpack strap" for it, thatd be pretty sweet
but until they make one, my head will stay intact
You'd have to mount it on the back of a humvee.
I bet you'd need two tripods to hold it up
Id just buy a midget from overseas, mount it to his shoulder, and I could stand behind directing the camera
but wait, is this even theoretically possible? would the filter size/front glass have to be like 500mm?
one for each camera, so I wouldn't have to mount and dismount. considering I won't be needing anymore lenses, I'll sell everything and have those 2 as walk around.
Lets hope they can fit it in the size of something like the 70-200
was expecting something real or ef 1200mm mkII. boring
maybe I'll buy the 5.0 TC they'll bring out for it too... 3000mm f/1.4 > your tiny 1200 bullshit.
then I can go outside w/ my 5.0 TC + 600mm f/1.4 lens and take pictures of ants on the moon.
hmmm, got me thinking, if I got a 2x converter, stacked the 2.0, 1.4, on my 400mm, with a 1.6x crop, thats like 1800mm at like f/16
then flip a 50 1.4 around and duct tape it to the front of all those... micro superzoom > *
no need for duct tape, ive got a reverse ring coupler, I always had a hard time with the focus, so i gave up on it after about 5 or 6 tries, I need a bit more working distance.
In for 600mm macro with 1 foot focus range
I honestly wonder how crazy lenses will be in 5 years
