Maybe it's just the video, but that still sounds pretty loud for a subsonic round with a suppressor.

I don't really think it's very loud at all.

Just curious -- have you shot many large caliber rounds through a suppressor?

 Didn't mean to offend you. Just considering .45 is a subsonic round I thought it would sound quieter. I know it's not supposed to sound like the pew pew in the movies, but still.

    :werd:

The last .45 can I shot was on a converted Uzi, the sound of the bullets wacking a metal folding chair was louder than actually shooting it

seemed substanially quieter... isn't this the one you had made up with an adapter to go on to your .40 as well?

I have shot it wet. A tad quieter. It IS NOT loud. Louder than a .22 suppressed (of course) , but a .45 isn't gonna be "movie quiet" by any means.

Yeah, that's the one with the different sleeves that I can switch out. I have not shot it w/ .40 subsonics yet.

It's hard to get an appreciation of oh how quiet a can is on video. Different video cam with differing quality of microphones. Also video is hard to judge slide speed, but that 45 slide just seems like it is going in slow motion. Well truth is most 45 look like they are moving slow to me.
