dark corners for gears 2 is
wish they'd bring back escalation
i dont hate buying map packs...i like buying them when its legit and adds more play value to my games...and when there's a good amount of maps in there. anything less than 4 is a no go.
people dont like when they announce map packs before the game is released (im looking at you MW2) or put shit on the disc then make you pay to unlock it later (RE5). its the being taken advantage of part that gets me.
but word, i don't mind paying for extra stuff either.
at your username how appropriate Maria... .. MARIAAAAAA!!!!!
people still play gears 2 online?
I don't play any more adversarial games no more.
The only reward I get from them is getting the other player killed and honestly I have gone through that shit so many times that it becomes dull.
I want the game to reward me for spending time with it. That's why I play coop games.
cod waw mappack 3 is ftw, love the new zombie map
you're just a quitter.
yeah, thats why i have 22,000+ kills on the original gears. gears was probably the greatest multiplayer game of all time. gears 2 is complete shit.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you the Xbox generation
amount of kills is irrelevant to whether or not you quit. you could quit after 100,000 kills. but i'm glad your life has been enhanced by the brilliance and wonder that is gears. i miss the hype.
yup. xbox is great. you should buy yourself one.
fixed for truth.
Had two. Sold them.
gears is great for campaign and horde
I really dont understand why so many console developers charge people for new maps and content, but then again Im used to Valves way of doing things with tons of free user created stuff and free updates.
It really just seems like the best way to subtly nickle and dime the shit out of people. But then again Gears is up there with Halo in terms of highly overrated games.
Should have put the money towards an AV
1) Microsoft wants devs to charge and won't host their shit if they don't (or won't unless it has a cost for a limited time and then is free afterwards)
2) It takes lots of time and energy (and therefore money) to make some DLC. The reason why Valve can do it for free for TF2 is because it's a small group doing it
3) Gamers will still pay for stupid/shady DLC
