MIL Army Soldiers: Can Your 1st Line Supervisor make you type your own counseling?

    Im talking you, the soldier types up your own 4856, with corrective action included?

    Isn't there something in FM 22-100 that has something against that?

    Im wrong and all but I will not type my own counseling statement. Tell me these NCO's are not only lazy but wrong.

    are you talking like, monthly counseling statement? the one that just tells you that you're doing things okay, and what you still need to work on?


    or a counseling statement like, you've shown up to work late for the last 5 days and you're a shitbag..













    EITHER way, your lazyass fuckin "NCO" should be typing that up.

    I might be wrong here, but IMO they can tell you to type it up and just call it part of the counseling. Kind of like when your dad tells you you have to wash the family car for the month that you are grounded from driving it. :dunno:
