Officer's in a leadership position within a Company....should the green felt be placed under the unit crest or under the rank? Me and a few other LT's understood 670-1 to place it under the unit crest...our CC disagrees and says it goes under the rank...Any squared away NCO or CPT/FGO care to advise me in this situation?

green tabs are placed on the middle of the loop and the unit crest is worn above them.

i get flak for wearing these as a specialist MTOEd as section sergeant :mamoru:

Thanks...i knew our CC was ate up...but she's a "know it all" and you can't show her an AR as she's always right.

I knew we were ate the fuck up when we were told to switch the felt from the unit crest to under the rank.

    c. The LI insignia is a green cloth loop, 1 5⁄8 inches wide, worn in the middle of both shoulder loops on the Army
    green coat
, the cold-weather coat (field jacket) and on the center tab of the extended cold-weather clothing system
    (ECWCS).

    Straight out the reg.
