my wife is very interested in becoming an EMT, and would appriciate any and all information on trainning, or anything else associated with the job. She has been to the web site, and is looking for more of a first hand view.

I'll try not to make this too negative..

Take the stressors of a thankless public service job along with the long hours it entails then throw in the military BS that goes with being in the Army.

    no time off FTL

well, from what i hear from active/reserve and retired members, the combat lifetakers aren't looked upon too highly
